The work of Trautsch, who passed away in 2021 at the age of 75, is both documentary and art – seamlessly weaving together celebrity portraits of gay icons like Andy Warhol and Robert Mapplethorpe, with dynamic shots the photographer’s prefered queer nightclubs.
